In Versuchen an Katzen konnten folgende Wirkungen auf adrenergische Funktionen analysiert werden: a) eine sympathicomimetische Wirkung, die nach Adrenalektomie und Cocain abgeschwächt ist; b) eine Sensibilisierung der Adrenalin- und Noradrenalinwirkung an Blutdruck und Nickhaut, weniger ausgeprägt auch eine Verstärkung der pressorischen Wirkung von Tyramin; c) eine hemmende Wirkung auf die Funktion des adrenergischen Neurons.
